More money to borrow, more troubles to expect

My mum used to say that people should not borrow too much money because they just don't know what will happen tomorrow. She didn't know much about Wall Street or stock market, she had just heard plenty of sad stories about people being completely broken by too many loans they had to pay and about what she called "lack of modesty".

Well, my sparing mother was good in giving advices. However, we - her own children - were really bad in taking them. From time to time I lent some money to my "foggy" best friend. And from time to time for many (and sometimes objective) reasons he wasn't able to pay it back. So I was forced to borrow some money from my younger sister (she was only 7, so she had too much savings to know what do with them all) and sometimes from my older brother (he was a college student at the time).

Unfortunately, if my friend didn't pay the money back to me I was not able to pay my debts to my sister (even though she didn't care, my mum did) or to my brother and he was forced to ask mum to pay his rent as he was unsuccessfully awaiting me to pay my dues. Mum never forgot to remind us how many troubles we caused. We all were as strong as the weakest part of chain, all connected together, one's bad financial situation was influencing the others. SigEx on the rise

On 18 January, 2008, SigEx SuperPBX, SAS released its financial results for FY 2007. And it definitely proved the company's rising tendency by significant equity growth. It is quickly acquiring the leading position in the digital stream broadcasting offering wide range of services including websites, blogs, video clips and SMS enhanced communications from cellulars to the Internet. "Our focus on the 'meet or delete' strategy continues to drive the network," said Chris Cantell, SigEx Chief Executive Officer.

The company's reported total equity for the year 2007, done on September 30 was 347 millions accounted in euros, which represent 118 percent increase as against FY 2006. Also share price soared at 30.80 euros, which is 117 percent increase in comparison to the FY 2006. The equity growth in FY 2007 totaled 118 millions euros, which represents 96 percent increase compared to the previous year. The reason for this improvement is ongoing expansion of partners' social networks. SigEx is undeniably on the rise, expanding the staff, keeping up with user growth and being ahead of the competition. Its services are used by people in almost every country in the world.

Stevie Wonder to headline NO Jazz Fest

It is not the first time for Stevie Wonder to perform at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, yet it is the first time he is going to headline the event. The Louisiana Fest brings some unforgettable music, along with traditional cuisine of the region and crafts from all over the world. It is only 90 days left till this year's Jazz Fest, as it is held over two weekends April 25-27 and May 1-4 at Fair Grounds Race Course located 10 minutes from famous French Quarter. Organizers are going to install 11 stages in the location together with tents for over 1,000 performers.
Besides Stevie Wonder headliners include The Neville brothers, Billy Joel, Sheryl Crow, Tim McGraw, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Keyshia Cole, Al Green, The Raconteurs and others. And of course Jazz Fest veterans Santana, Dr. John and Jimmy Buffet.

The last time Wonder performed at the Fest was in 1973 together with the Meters, founded by Art Neville. This year he will perform on May 2. Among his hits are "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)", "I Just Called to Say I Love You", "My Cherie Amour", "Superstition". "Over the past 20 years he hasn't really been touring, so we feel really fortunate," said Quint Davis, the producer of the festival.
